Mission

The mission of the Division of Senior and Adult Services is to empower seniors and adults with disabilities to age successfully by providing resources and support that preserve their independence.

2015 Annual Report - While 2015 marked the 50th anniversary of Medicare, Medicaid, and the Older Americans Act, as well as the 80th Anniversary of the passage of the Social Security Act, DSAS continued to position itself to design services and programs for a new generation of older adults. Included in this new generation are the 10,000 Baby Boomers (those born between1946-1964) who turn 65 or older every day.

Home Support Service - The Division of Senior and Adult Services Home Support Unit provides home care that helps clients maintain a safe, wholesome environment in their own home at an affordable price.
   
 

Public Records Policy - It is the policy of Cuyahoga County Division of Senior and Adult Services (DSAS) that openness leads to a better-informed citizenry, which leads to better government and better public policy.
